My Weekend

Here's how my Saturday and Sunday went.
Woke up at about 11:30 on Saturday and got some breakfast and then lounged around until about 1 o'clock when Deborah and Franc showed up to the house. Sandra came shortly after that. At about 2, Marcela asked where Ryan was. I told her that I didn't know for sure, but I thought he was at his girlfriends house. I told her that I couldn't get directions, but I could get there in a taxi.
After Sandra got there, they went to the supermarket to get the food and stuff, at about 2:30 Marcela called and asked if Ryan was there - obviously he was not. I offered again to take a taxi to go get him, but she said no.
3:00 o'clock rolls around and Ryan is still not there yet. Paco shows up, he had to work until 2:30, and Paco, Franc, and I go to find Ryan. We get there and he is in the shower. So it's about 3:30 before Ryan and I get back to the house. Marcela was very, very, very angry. She was saying things that I had never even heard before and basically, it was not pretty. So we get all of the things loaded up and start driving to the cabins. That trip goes well and we get to the cabin about 1 1/2 hours after starting.
It's up in the mountains and the view is absolutely gorgeous. There is nothing around but nature and the other cabins. We start listening to music, cooking, and having a good time. The food is amazing, the girls were dancing like crazy, and no one had any problems. It was a grand ole time.
At about midnight, Ryan passes out on the bed. Marcela then tells everyone that she is going to put makeup on him, or "paint his face". As you all have seen, she does, and he does not wake up for a thing. They even jumped on the bed and he didn't wake up.
Well, that was pretty much the end of the excitement for the night, but Paco, Vicky and I stayed up talking until about 4 in the morning and when I went to bed, the girls were still up too. They said they went to sleep at about 5.
Well, 8 o'clock rolls around and I decide that I can't sleep any more. You all know how I am at the cabin at Beaver, so I get up and start making breakfast. Marcela and Vicky are already up too. I made some scrambled eggs with ham, onions, cheese, and garlic salt. They were tasty. Paco then made some more eggs with ham and they made some taco sort of things with them, for the people that weren't awake yet.
I decided that it would be a good idea for me to start doing dishes. After most of the people had woken up, I was still doing dishes and making things for them to eat, and Deborah insisted that I stop. But I wouldn't have any of it. After all of the dishes were done, Deborah and I drank some coffee (there was only enough for us 2 :)), and Ryan and I drank some Maté, which is a type of hot tea from Argentina.
Basically what I'm telling you is that I needed some caffeine. After the caffeine boost, we decided to go to a Canyon of sorts, that you saw lots of pictures of. It was about 5km or 2.5 miles each way - down and back up. My legs did not want to work after that trip. We came back and made some lunch and starting packing things up. I pretty much didn't do anything because I was wore out from the hike and I did my share that morning, althought I did go back and do some more dishes, which Paco latered commented on "Scott, you're ready to get married, since you can do dishes."
Oh, I forgot one thing from Sunday. Ryan asked Marcela is she was still mad at him and she said yes, she was going to be mad at him for a long time. She was like "You crashed my car, you were late for my birthday, you didn't tell me happy birthday because you didn't come home Thursday. Hell, Scott even made me a cake!" Ryan then turns to me and was like "You made her a cake!???!!!?
Yes, yes I did make her a cake. I used the mix that my mommy sent me for my birthday and I even used the candles. She sent me a pack that had "C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E" all in seperate candles. Well, I decided not to use the "T" and the "E" and make the spanish word "Celebra", which is a command for someone to celebrate. So that worked out nicely. Well, I hope that's enough to satisfy the thirst for those junkies out there.
I'm out.
